Funeral service was held at 2 p. m. January 31 at McDonald Funeral Home by Joe Hampton of Farmersville, North Carolina. Burial was in Skelton Cemetery on Cane Creek. A native of Hickman County, Mr. Campbell had lived in Hohenwald for many eyars. He was employed in Detroit for several years and was retired from Chrysler Motor Company Automobile Industries, St. Louis, Missouri. He was a member of the Church of God, Seventh Day. Mr. Campbell was married to the former Edna Johnson who died in 1962. He later married Mrs. Oma Qualls Henleys [sic], who survives. His parents were the late Joe and Lela McCann Campbell. Survivining in addition to his wife are five daughters, Mrs. Marie Peal Lang, Muskegon, Michigan; Mrs. Vera Mae Turner, Deckerville, Michigan; Mrs. Freda Nell Kimlin, Mrs. Bonnie Rhea Celestin and Mrs. Sarah Faye Brown, Ypsilanti, Michigan; two sons, James P., Ypsilanti, Michigan and Ralph Campbell, Holland, Michigan; three step- daughters, Mrs. Pearl Blankenship, Nashville, Mrs. Ruth Head, Cedar Hill; Mrs. Martha DeCamp, Wheelersburg, Ohio; a step-son, Lonnie Hensley, Walton, Kentucky; a brother, G. A. Campbell, Centerville; six sisters. Mrs. Bessie Hallbrooks, Mrs. Ida Hinson, Centerville, Mrs. Maude Hallbrooks, Farmers Exchange; Mrs. Lena Tibbs, Mrs. Mavie Hinson, Hohenwald; Mrs, Savannah Smith, Charleston, Missouri; twenty eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren."
