HARRISON, 76, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial hospital, Logansport. Mr. Harrison was born Jan. 16, 1902 at Grass Creek to Thomas L. and Edith PHERSON HARRISON. He was married Dec. 25, 1924 at Winamac to Effie M. REARICK who survives. Mr. Harrison just retired as president of Community State bank, Royal Center. He became bank president March 4, 1970 and had been a member of the bank board since Jan. 20, 1960. A funeral director for 50 years, he had owned the Harrison funeral home at Kewanna and Royal Center until retiring in 1967. He was a member of the Lucerne Christian church, past master of the Royal Center Masonic lodge, member of the Fort Wayne Scottish Rite and Shrine and past president and member of the Royal Center Lions club. Surviving with the wife are twin daughters, Mrs. Ed (Jean) HOLLENBERG, Winamac, and Mrs. Shirley COH, Ann Arbor, Mich.; another daughter, Mrs. Bill (Sue) BARR, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, and eighteen grandchildren. A daughter preceded in death. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Harrison Garden Chapel, Royal Center, with the Rev. Gene SELLERS officiating. Burial will be in the Grass Creek cemetery.
