Notizen zu dieser Person
[Bill's Nutt.FTW] David lived most of his life in Neosho and Granby, MO. He worked in the mines at Granby and was Granby City Marshal for four years. He and Ollie were active in church work. They later moved to Neosho where he was employed on the water works extensions. They later moved to Baxter Springs. David Lee was handicapped. He had the use of only one arm. The left, his right, was only a stub as his right hand and part of his lower right arm were blown off early in life when as he was sitting with a group around a fire, suddenly a stick of dynamite rolled toward the fire. He saw it and quickly picked it up to throw it away from the group and the fire when it exploded. He also lost an eye in this accident. Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church, oficiated by Rev. B. A. Pugh. The funeral home was Parker-Hunsaker Mortuary.
