[Jack Tatum's Family Tree PURE.FTW] Leven Tatum was raised on headwaters of Rockhouse Creek, in Perry Co, TN. His first wife Mary Elizabeth was raised On Headwaters of Sinking Creek, Perry Co, Tn, When they married they begin living on Sinking Creek, On what is now the Jack Tatum Farm. Leven and Mary had eigh children , Mary died giving birth with the 9th child, Leven Tatum then left his children and went and lived with Lila Ada McCurry she was 14, years old. They lived in Tucker Holler in Lewis Co, She was less then 15, years old when there first child Alma, was born. They had Pete, and Alfred, before they were force to get married by the Sheriff. They were two other couples living in the same house at the same time having children. they were force to get married to. Leven and his family moved from Tucker Holler to Ashland Comunity, Wayne Co, Tn, Nath, their son was born 1912, Ashland, Wayne Co, Leven and his family moved from Ashland, Wayne Co, to Mark Tree, AR. in 1914, Edith, their daughter was born 1915, somewhere from the time they left Ashland until they moved back to Burns Holler, Wayne Co, Tn, from Mark Tree, AR. about 1916, Elmer, their son was born 1918, in Burns Holler, Wayne Co, Tn, about one year later they moved just across a ridge in Owl Holler, still Wayne Co, Leven in about 1920, traded his { milk cow and work mule } to Tom Hance Tharp for the Home Place on Opossum Creek, Wilton, and Jessie were both born on Opossum Creek, at the home place. Leven Tatum lived their until he died Jan 10, 1925, Leven first childrens was raised by Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles, of his first wife Mary Elizabeth Anderson. This was told to me Jack Tatum, by Alfred Tatum a son of Leven Tatum, about two years before he died Oct 04, 1996.
