Sue was born, October 17, 1943, raised in Springfield, Ohio and graduated from Greenon High School in 1961. She was one of four children born to the late Raymond and Martha Southward and was the beloved wife of Steve Smith. Sue will forever be remembered by her beloved children, Willie and Linda Bass, Sam and Taya Bass, Ginnie and Matt Moore, and David M. Bass, treasured grandchildren Rick and Erin Bass, Justin Houlton, Patience and Madison Moore, her devoted brothers, sister and in-laws, David and Wilma Southward, Sherri and John Williams, Michael and Carla Southward, and Kathy Sink, her "furry children", Patch, Bailey and Abby, Special Friends, Pastor Kevin and Cindy Moehn, and countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. Sue loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading, being with her family, and having fun with friends. Sue touched the lives of many people with her smile, generosity, and unconditional love. She loved the Lord Jesus and found happiness serving her church family.
