Charlotte married Johann CarlAugustLINDNER, son of Johann Gottlob LINDNER and Maria RosinaJOHN, on23 Oct 185 in Langmiel, SA , Australia. (Johann CarlAugustLINDNER was born on 16 Jun 1830 in Groß Tinz, KreisLiegnitz,Silesia, Prussia and died on 4 Dec 1919 in Walla Walla,N.S.W..)"On 23rd October, 1851 she was married t o Johann CarlAugustLindner, a renter of Langmiel. WiTenn.esses of themarriage wereHermann Scholz, Maria Grosser and Johanne Dittrichof LightPass, Christian Auricht (student) of Langmiel, WilhelmOt to(farmer) and Mrs Wilhelm Otto of Gnadenfrei"..... Church baptismal records give theiraddressvariously a s Langmiel (to 1858); Marananga (to 1862)andNuriootpa (1864). They then looked to newer pastures inN.S.W..After a short stay at Menindee, where one daughter wasborn(Christiane Bertha in June 1866 ) and one son was drowned(KarlFriedrich in November 1867) they followed her parents totheAlbury district. They selected land at Burrumbuttock andbuilt ahome where they spent the remaining years o f theirlives. Ontrips back to, South Australia he is said to havespoken highlyof the land and conditions in N.S.W., trying toconvince othersto migrate. They took an active part in the lifeof th e church.He was well equipped with the knowledge andinterest to teachthe confirmation class in the absence of thepastor.
