Anna Marie "Judy" Sweikowski, 72, of Zelienople, formerly of Manheim, Pa., passed away Wednesday in the comfort of her home. Born on Dec. 28, 1940, in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Anna (Landis) Kreider. Raised in the Mennonite faith, Judy was past president and member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 474 in Zelienople, member of the Harmony Chapter 924 Women of the Moose, co-owner of A-1 PC in Zelienople and a member of the Hungarian Club. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, trapping, gardening and traveling. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children, Ronald Rhodes and his companion, Betty Terry, David Sweikowski and his wife, Chris, and Brenda Lauten and her husband, Kenneth; her loving companion, Martin Jones; her three brothers, Wilmer, Stanley and Landis Kreider; her sister, Reba Enck; her eight grandchildren, Thomas and Kevin Rhodes, David, Daniel and Matthew Sweikowski, Jacob and Jonathan Lauten, Kimmerly Rask and her husband, Clayton, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Sweikowski, who passed away in 1989; her sister, Kathleen Geil, and one grandson, Michael Rhodes. Sweikowski - The family of Anna Marie "Judy" Sweikowski, who died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, will welcome friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral ceremony at noon Friday at the funeral home with Minister Reid Moon officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Zelienople Community Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor in support of the Harmony EMS, 102 Mennonite Lane, Harmony, PA 16037.
