Arthur Paul Eymann, 94, died on November 6, 2015, at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon, Missouri. He was born on November 5, 1921, in Warsaw, Illinois, to Elmer P. Eymann and Louise Haines Eymann. He married on August 20, 1949 at the Bethany United Church of Christ, Tioga, Illinois.
After serving four years in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II, he graduated from the University of Illinois in 1950. He then lived for more than thirty years in Keokuk, Iowa, where he was a chemist for the Chevron Chemical Company in Fort Madison, Iowa, and owned farms outside Keokuk. In 1983, he and his wife moved to Macon, Missouri.
His survivors include: two daughters, one son, five grandchildren, four great-grandsons, one brother,and one sister, He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Eloise Robbins, brother Elmer Eymann, and infant grandson Zachariah Phillips.
Graveside services will be Monday, November 9,2015, at 11 a.m. at the National Veteran Cemetery, in Jacksonville, Missouri, followed by a luncheon at the Macon United Methodist Church for family and friends. Contributions may be made to the LongBranch Area YMCA of Macon where Arthur enjoyed walking with his friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral home in Macon
