TOD: OBIT - George Schuh, Sr. MHTR - from Agnes Birringer - 1/93 George Schuh, Sr, 89, of Route 1, Cato, retired farmer, died Tuesday afternoon at St Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 8:45a.m. Friday at the Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9:30 at St Nicholas Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The Rev John Husslein will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. He was born in Menasha in 1862 and the family moved to Brillion 12 years later. In 1888 he married Miss Mary Zipperer in Whitelaw and they located on a farm in Cato. He retired 10 years ago, when a son took over the farm. Mrs Schuh died 10 years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Whitelaw. Survivors are three sons, George, Jr., Godfrey and Theodore, all of route 1, Cato; seven daughters, Mrs Bernard Riederer, Mrs Charles Krueger and Mrs John Osieczanek of Manitowoc, Mrs Louis Vogl of route 1, Cato, Mrs Frank Vogl of route 4, Manitowoc, and Mrs Ottilia Daughterty, Mrs John Seibert of Evanston; 44 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
