Pioneer Calledto Her Reward
Caroline Wiedbrauk was born in Vesbro Brunswick, Germany, Oct 28th, 1826, and died Feb 24th, 1914, at the age of 88 years, 3 months and 26 days.
She came to Cleveland, Ohio, 58 years ago thence to Michigan, where she resided until her death. She was a member of the German Lutheran Church. Three children and a husband preceded her by death. She is survived by one daughter and four sons, nine grand-children, fourteen great grandchildren. The world was better by her living in it, and the end was peaceful.
The funeral services were held at Mt. Hope Church, Rev. L.J. officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Burk cemetery.

CAROLINE MUNT NOTES: The family information regarding Caroline was that her name was Carlena or Caroline Munt and born on October 28 1826. The 1900 Michigan Census lists her as Catherine Wiedbrauk born October 1826 & 73 years old.
The state of Michigan death certificate; Caroline Wiedbrauk born in
Germany on November 28 1824 and 89 yrs 2 months & 27 days old when she died on February. 24, 1914. This record lists MUNN in the space for name of father. She was buried in the Burke Cemetery in Crystal Twp. The information for this certificate was supplied by daughter ALICE WIEDBRAUK, who would have been 50 years old at the time and should be a reliable source of information.
NOTE: 1900 Census information on Henry Andrew Wiedbrauk 81 years old at the time checked out correctly with other information. His wife's
birth date checked with family record but not death record.
