Church at 2 p.m.” (Mortuary Ledger) “Funeral services for Mrs Wilhelmina Lobe, 82, will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon from the English Congregational Church , theRev E J Eslinger of the UCC officiating. Burial will be in the Odessa Cemetery, under the direction of the Strate Funeral Home. Mrs Lobe died at the Ritzville hospital on Tuesday morning, after eightdays there. Born in Kulm, Russia, Jan 18, 1865, she grew to womanhood there. In 1885 she was united in marriage to Gottlieb Lobe, who died in August 1914. Mr and Mrs Lobe and family came to America in 1898, locating southwest of Ritzville for two years, then moving to the Batum area. In 1919 Mrs Lobe moved to Odessa to make her home. Survivors include two sons, John G Lobe and Nath. Lobe, both ofOdessa; two daughters, Mrs Ed Radach, Dryden, and Mrs John Speck, Odessa; two stepchildren, Gust Lobe, Wenatchee, and Mrs Amelia Derr, Ritzville; 23 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.” (Odessa Record: 4-03-1947)
