Details: Irene May Arnoldini 1924 - 2013 Irene Arnoldini, 88, of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., died on March 17, 2013, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Lakeland, Fla. Irene was born in Kenosha on May 4, 1924, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mabel (Ziesemer) Fechner. She was a graduate of Bradford High School. She married Charles Arnoldini, they later divorced. Irene was employed at Jockey in Kenosha for 33 years. She retired at age 55 and moved to Horseshoe Bend, Ark. There she returned to school and became a licensed practical nurse. She worked in Arkansas health facilities until the age of 70. She enjoyed her life in Arkansas. Her home was in the forest and she was visited by birds, deer and other animals daily. She had very close and loving friends. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church, enjoyed Christian radio, reading, swimming, gardening, fearless car trips on her own into her 80s, her backyard swing, collecting stuff and her quilting group. Her calm demeanor, beautiful smile and giving heart will be so missed by her family and friends. Irene loved her family. She is survived by her three children, Dan Arnoldini of Lakeland, Fla., Suzette (Buzz) Englund and Carlene Wendel of Lakeland, Fla.; four grandchildren, Chad (Tammi) Englund, Clint Englund, Jeni (Norman) Vossschulte and Carli Wendel; four great grandsons, Neo and Anik Vossschulte and Elijah and Synjin Englund; siblings include, Gilbert (Doris) Fechner, Milo (Wanda) Fechner, Laverne Johnson, Alice Kelly, Betty Hall and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services were held in Lakeland, FL.
