Born Nov.15,1928,Brookville son of late Philip J.Clinger and mary E.Himes Clinger.Married,Evelyn Mae Whitfield,she survives.
He was mechanic at Robs Sunoco Brookville for 19yrs.,was also employed by Zent Bros.Construction Co.Brookville and was maintenance supervisor for Truck Stops of America,Brookville.
He was a U.S.navy veteran of World War 11'Was avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting fishing and gardening.He enjoyed spending time with his family and visiting with friends.
He is survived by two sons,Keith A,(Karen)Clinger,Brookville Ronald E.(Terry Lee)Clinger,Jackson,Tenn. one dau.Debora J.(Blaine)Campbell,Brookville,five brothers,Donald L.Clinger,Emerickville,Daniel C.Clinger Hawthorne,Parker M.Clinger,Falls Creek,Wayne S.Clinger,Smithtownb and Steve E.Clinger,Brookville,two sisters;Betty L.Remarz,Hillsboro,texas and Mary C,Speicher,Brockway;11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.He was also preceded in death by three brothers,Richard R.Clinger,Philip Clinger and jack V.Clinger and one sister,beverly A.Clinger.
Funeral service will be held at 11am.Sat.at the funeral home with Chaplain Bob Bickerstaff officiating,Interment -Lakelawn Cem. Reynoldsville
