Robert was an avid gardener and published many articles on his specialty of terrariums and his own book "Gardens in Glass Containers, Hearthside Press, New York, 1970"
He never married
Predeceased by his older brother, Albert M. Baur, Jr.
Survived by many cousins
He resided in Brattleboro, VT
Interment - Baur family plot beside his father and mother in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Danbury, CT.
