Wightman, 74, of Route 6, 3499 Fourth Street Road, diedThursday, July 5, 1990, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born Jan. 27, 1916, in the Town of Empire, a daughter of Paul andElla Rabe Immel. On Sept. 20, 1940, she married Charles E. Wightman atChurch of Our Saviour Evangelical. The Rev. B.J. Stecker officiated. Mrs. Wightman was a member of Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheranand the American Lutheran Church Women and president of the Ladies Guild.She served as treasurer of the Fond du Lac Homemakers Club and presidentof the Empire Social Club. Survivors include her husband; one son, Wayne G. of Fond du Lac; twindaughters, Diane Kaiser and her husband Richard of Fond du Lac, and DonnaHalfman and her husband Ryan of Kansas City, MO; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Immel and Marvin Immel and his wifeMary, both of Fond du Lac. Preceding her in death were one son, Richard,on May 6, 1987, and one brother, Harold Immel. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Church of Our SaviourEvangelical Lutheran. The Rev. Carl R. Knitt will officiate. Burial willfollow in Rienzi Cemetery. Friends may call today from 4 to 9 p.m. at Mach Funeral Chapel and Mondayfrom 10 a.m. to the hour of services at the church.
