Commonwealth Reporter - Dated: 10-29-1945 Henry Krug, 169 East Eleventh Street, died Saturday afternoon at thefamily home after a short illness. Born March 4, 1860, in Germany, he was a son of Henry and Eva Krug. At anearly age he came to the United States with his parents settling in theTown of Forest and spending practically all his life in the community. For the past 28 years he resided in this city. On April 5, 1890, he was married to Wilhelmina Horst who died November 3,1903. On March 1, 1905, he was united in marriage to Rose Gerhart whosurvives him. Others surviving are five children, Hilda Krug and Henry Krug of thiscity, Herbert of Sheboygan; Otto of Forest and Mrs. Eugene Gartman ofOshkosh; six grandchildren; a brother George Krug of Forest and a sister, Mrs. William Richter of Glenbeulah. The body will lie in state at the Zacherl funeral home until Tuesday noonwhen it will be taken to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church where it will liein state until the hour of the funeral services, 2 p.m. The Rev. B.J. Stecker will officiate and burial will be at ForestCemetery. Commonwealth Reporter - Dated: 10-31-1945 Funeral rites for Henry Krug, who died Saturday, were held Tuesday at 2p.m. at OUr Saviour's LUtheran Church, the Rev. B.J. Stecker officiating. Pallbearers were Frank Bartel, Peter, Tony, John and Arnold Krug, andClarence Richter. Burial was in Forest cemetery. Among those from away attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. WilliamBlock, Milwaukee; Otto and Gustav Horst, Mrs. Ella Dhein and son, Ronaldof Chilton, Mrs. Frances Krug, Arnold and Nora Krug of Appleton and manyfrom the surrounding community.
