Mrs. Francis (Eileen) Kohout, age 54, of rural Montfort, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 4, 1988, at her home.
Daughter of Anton and Rose (Holzer) Meyer, she was born Dec. 1, 1933,in Platteville. She attended Platteville schools and was married to Francis Kohout Aug. 24, 1955 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Platteville.They have farmed together since that time in Castle Rock township.She was a member of St. John's Nepomuc Catholic church.
Surviving are her husband, Francis, a daughter, Mrs. Doug (Rita) White,Bagley; two sons, Jerome and Steve (Rose), both of rural Montfort;two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Helen) Gallagher of Platteville and Mrs.Gerald (Hilda) Kramer Sr. of Farley, IA; and four brothers, Raymond Meyer, Mark Meyer, Ervin Meyer and Robert Meyer all of rural Platteville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, as sister Rosemary Dalsing in 1972, and a brother, Gerald in childhood.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Nepomuc CatholicChurch at Castle Rock Ridge, with Fr. Bud Hollfelder officiating.Burial will be made in the church cemetery, with the Soman FuneralHome of Montfort in charge of arrangements. Visitation was from 3to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Soman Funeral home, where therosary was to be recited at 8 p.m.
