Venghaus, Edmund Henry Funeral Service For E. Venghaus Funeral Services for Edmund H, Venghaus were held Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. from the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Columbus with Rev. Robert Schlortt officiating. Burial was in the Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery. Mr. Venghaus passed away Sunday, Feb. 21, in the Columbus Hospital. He was 86 years of age. Born at Frelsburg April 27, 1895, he was the son of the late Edward and Ida (Bruedigam) Venghaus. He married the former Frieda Gross December 26, 1918 at Post Oak Point. He was a retired farmer and rancher. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Frieda Venghaus of Columbus; one daughter, Mrs. Clemons Noska of Columbus; two sons, Milroy Venghaus and Elroy Venghaus, both of Columbus; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Lepp of Sealy and Mrs. Charlie Tiedt of La Grange; one brother, Walter Venghaus of Columbus; 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Larry, Kenny, David, Brad and Ryan Venghaus, Donald Nelson, Gary and Ricky Noska. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Friederichs, Herbert Aschenbeck, Leslie GIaeser, Clemons Venghaus, Dean Venghaus, Lew Ellyn Gross and Max Rogers.
