Notizen zu dieser Person
Mary Ann Woods was the first wife of John Wayerski. Her maiden name was given as Mary Wojewodka by her son Frank on his marriage certificate in 1898. She was born in Poland, and the mother of Mary and Frank, both born in Poznan/Posen, and Martha, who was born in Wisconsin. She probably died about the time of Martha's birth in 1885, as John Wayerski was married to Constancya Lawinski (Sczygelski Mazor) at the time of daughter Helen's birth in 1888.
There is a Mariann Wojewodka from Prussia, age 20, noted in "Germans to America" Vol. 39, who arrived in Baltimore aboard the "Braunschweig" on July 14, 1881. She set sail from Bremen with the destination of Michigan. This is not the correct person, as our Marianna would have been married to John Wayerski and the mother of two young children in 1881.
