Marjorie Bryde Weds Student At Seminary
Miss Marjorie Bryde, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stanley Bryde of Linden Street, and Harold Stanley Knight of this city were married Wednesday evening in Immanuel Baptist Church in Park Avenue, the Rev. Osgood McDonaldofficiating. The church was decorated with Easter lilies and palms. The groom is a graduate of the University of Rochester and attends Colgate-Rochester Divinity School. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white moite taffeta with a tulle veil and Juliet cap of pearls. She carried and arm bouquet of Easter lilies. Miss Barbara Lucas of Detroit was maid of honor andwore a gown of aquamarine crepe. She carried an arm bouquet of yellow roses. Virginia Bryde, sister of the bride, was flower girl, and wore a gown of peach taffeta. She carried a colonial bouquet. Emerson Creore of Baltimore was best man for Mr. Knight, and the ushers were Robert Kinchalos, Haywood Cross and Paul Schade. Preceding the ceremony Miss. Dorothy Knight, niece of the groom, sang ?Ich Liebn Dieh?. Wayne Barlow played the wedding marches. Mrs. Bryde was gowned in wine colored lace and wore a corsage of yellow roses. The mother of the groom wore a gown of black and white print and a corsage of white roses. The bride attended Michigan State College, where she was member of Sigma Kappa. Mr. and Mrs. Knight will make their home in LeRoy, where Mr. Knight will assume his duties as pastor of the First Baptist Church tomorrow.

OBITUARY: Mesa Tribune, Mesa, Arizona July 22, 1965. ""Mrs. Marjorie B. Knight, 51, died yesterday in St. Luke's Hospital, Phoenix. A native of Seneca Falls, NY, she had resided in Mesa at 743 E. University Dr. A resident here 8 years, she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Harold S. Knight, rector of the St. Mark's Episcopal Church, a son, Douglas W., of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a daughter, Mrs. Cheryl Ann Mohler of Mesa; her mother, Mrs. Alyce Bryde, of St. Petersburg, Fla; a brother, Walter F. Bryde (middle initial incorrect - cgk), Wilmington, Del, a sister, Miss Virginia Bryde, also of St. Petersburg; and 3 grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday in St. Mark's Episcopal Church with the Right Rev. Joseph Harte, bishop of Arizona, officiating. Rev. William Pottengerand Rev. David Jones will assist. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Gardens..."."
