Schreiner - Adeline "Lena," 94, Syracuse, died Thursday (3/21/02). Born, Martfeld, Germany (4/17/07), to Heinrich and Betti (Rengstorf) Brinkmann. Married, 9/25/30 in Syracuse. Former resident, Unadilla, Bennet and Lincoln; moved to Syracuse, 1973. Homemaker. Member, Women's Auxiliary. Enjoyed quilting, gardening and working in yard.
Survivors: sons, daughters-in-law, Lauren and Marilyn, Bennet, James and Marilyn, Elmwood, Lonnie, Loveland, Colo.; daughter, son-in-law, Gaylene and John Nutzman, Westpoint; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Dora Ahrens, Germany. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Edwin Louis (5/10/91); one brother; three sisters.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. John's United Church of Christ, Syracuse. The Rev. Ian McLean. Graveside services: 9:30 a.m. Monday, Lincoln Memorial Park, Lincoln. Honorary pallbearers: quilters of the church. Visitation: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. today, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, Fusselman-Wymore-Marshall Funeral Home, Syracuse. Memorials to the church.
