Mrs. Schipper Died Tuesday Mrs. Anna Maries Schipper, nee Brockman, an aged and well known resident of Danforth, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Pree, of east of Ashkum, Tuesday evening, after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Schipper was one of Danforth's first settlers, she and her husband having made their home in Danforth township ever since their arrival to America in the year 1881. About eight years ago, she and her husband retired from the farm and moved to town. Her husband died August 29, 1913 and sisnce that time she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Pree. Deceased was born at Westgast, Germany, on the 29th day of Nov. 1834. In the year 1865 she was united in marriage to Mr. Gerhard Schipper. She was a member of the German Lutheran church of this place and was a regular attendant of the services. Deceased leaves to mourn, her daughter, Mrs. Henry Pree, her granddaughter, Mrs.Geo. A. Meents and grandson Mr. George Pree. Funeral services were held this afternoon in the Lutheran church of this place and burial was made in the Danforth cemetery.
