John F. Sailor
Jackson Center-John F. Sailor, 52, 602 E. College St., died Monday at9:20 am.m at the Heritage Manor Nurshing Home in Minster, where he hadbeen a patient since April 4.
He was born Dec. 16, 1927, in Jackson Center, son of Margarette A.(Brockmann) Sailor of Jackson Center and the late Paul Sailor.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Rhea Oberg ofSunset, Utah, and a son, Robert of Hawaii; a sister Mrs. William(Marilyn) Veit of Lima, and three brothers, Richard and Ralph, both ofJackson Center, and Lynn of Sidney.
A brother is deceased.
Mr. Sailor was a beick mason and a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Hewas a lfe member of past commander of the Scherer American Legion Postno. 493, Jackson Center , and a member of the Jackson Center UnitedMethodist Church.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the church with the Rev.Frederick A. Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Pearl Cemetery,Swanders.
Friends may call at the Van Horn Funeral Home in Jackson Center thisafternoon and evening.
The family has requested memorials be made to the Jackson Center UnitedMethodist organ fund.
