Christian Friedrich (Frederick) Krull was born at Weggun, Prinzlau, Germany. He was the son of Johann (John) Krull (c1775-1834) and Regina Priznitz (c1793-1873), both of whom spent their lives in Germany. Christian worked for a coachmaker in Berlin, Germany until he came to the United States in 1853. He was paid the equivalent of $40/year working as a coachmaker, and that was the cost of his trip to America. He settled in Madison, Wisconsin and then went to Linn County, Kansas in a covered wagon, arriving on 18 Oct 1856.Christian married Priscilla JaneWalk (1839-1887) on 01 Jan 1860 at Barnesville, Bourbon County, Kansas. Christian and Priscilla were the parents of five known children, three boys and two girls. Three of the five children lived to maturity.--

The 1827 birth year is wrong. Its 1820.The stone has Prescillas birthdate in 1849. Thats wrong too. Its 1839. There was 19 years differencein their ages. So, by what we figured they lied about Christians birthdate so the age difference wouldn't look so great. Prescilla was kindof particular about things as i take from what my Grandfather, LesterKrull, told me. He wanted to learn to speak some German . Prescilla wouldn't let him. She wanted him to speak articulate English. I also, was told he may have lied about age to keep out of military. But i do know its 1820 and from Weggun. In 1865 census, his nephew, Christian Hess, was listed in Christians household then in Linn Co. Kansas. Christian Hess Is the same one listed as living in Weggun before this time.A Fredrich Wilhelm Krull borned in 1826, came to America in 1854 but icant find where he settled at here. This would be a cousin to Christian Krull. Larry 27.02.2016 --
