Mailnachricht ©·uber Geneanet-Box vom 24.02.2013:
Hi there, my husband descends from Christina Burger and I thought you would like to know she married Joseph Eble 19 July 1837 in Baden, I believe and they immigrated to New York. They lived and raised 9 children here in Rochester NY. They are both buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester. Two of their sons fought in the American Civil War. Christopher was in the Cavalry and Anthony fought in many of the famous battles, Gettysburg, being one of them and was captured by Confederate soldiers at Bethesda Church, VA in June 1864., becoming a POW. He survived and mustered out in 1865, went back to Rochester, married and had a large family. Christina died in April 1891 and was buried April 14, 1891.
