Notizen zu dieser Person

He was also called Apmann.

Birth:
He was born in the village Sudweyhe in the Kirchweyhe parish near Syke in Lower Saxony in Germany. (E1)
He was born in 1736. His parents were Warnke and Cathrine Marie Warnke. (E3)
Kirchweyhe is now part of the town Weyhe.

Childhood:
He grew up in Sudweyhe. His father was a farmer. (E1)

Work:
He inherited his parents' farm. He was a farmer (German: Kötner). The house was house No. 16 in Sudweyhe. It was also called Apmann's house, because a man named Apmann owned it before a member of the Warnke family bought it. (E1, E7)
In 1787, seven years after his death, there were a farmhouse and a shed on the farm. (From 1787 “Brandkataster” of Syke - document “Dep. 106 Nr. 1270” in the civic archive in Hannover.)
In 1996 a person who worked in the office of the mayor of Weyhe wrote that the address of the old house No. 16 in Sudweyhe is now 'Achter de Beeke 21, Weyhe'. At that time the house was divided in tenanted flats.
According to Hinrich Esdohr's book of the genealogy of Weyhe this property is now owned by Dr. Heinrich Wendt, whose address is Bruchweiden 17, Weyhe-Sudweyhe. I spoke with him by telephone in 1997. The house is still standing.
I visited Sudweyhe in 1997 and photographed the house. It was in the process of being renovated. Amen. 1847.", "Joh. Heinr. Warneke und Gesche geb. Schierloh, auch Alb. Riekers und Anne Elis. Warneke" and "M. J. Riekers". From the above it appears that Hinrich Warnke's grandson built the current house.

Marriage:
He married Gesche Renjes from the village Okel in the Barrien parish, which is also near Syke. (E3)
They raised a family in Sudweyhe. (E3)

Death:
He died in Sudweyhe at 7 p.m. on the 9th of November 1780. He was suffering from high temperature. He was 44 years old. He was buried in the cemetery in Kirchweyhe three days later. (E3)

Other Information:
1. The registers before 1777 of the Felicianus church in Kirchweyhe were destroyed in a fire. The earliest book has a list of each house in the parish and its inhabitants as at 1777.

2. The wedding of this couple is not recorded in the Barrien church.

3. He was called Apmann, because his farm once belonged to a man whose surname was Apmann.
