Henry never married.

Died in a cabin fire with George Kowitz while trapping in northern Minnesota near Wales which is about 40 miles northwest of Two Harbors; "The letters startedcoming back after Christmas. Harry Hennen went up in March to see what was wrong. He found them in their underwear - one by the door and the other by the bed where the guns were kept. There was not much left of the bodies. All the furs were gone and the cabin was almost completely burned down. The bones were buried in the Bruno Cemetery in the same casket with those of George Kowitz. George Hollis had been run off earlier for courting Bertha Kowitz, but he returned in the spring with lots of money and later married Bertha. The family suspected him of setting fire to the cabin." Obituary in the March 24, 1927 issue of the Askov American.
