Charles Wesley Seitz first married (and was later divorced from)Lettie Kelly. As far as my records show, he and Lettie had nochildren. His second wife was Ellen Gutner from York, PA. Charleswas raised by his grandfather. He left home at an early age, traveleda great deal. He settled in Cleveland, Ohio and Detroit, MI. He wasan amateur painter. His pictures were very good. His work was makingthe paint formulas for the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company. They werelocated in several cities. When he retired, he lived in Milwaulkee,WI. During his youth, he tramped around Europe. He rode horses inraces, before the Queen of England. He was one of the men who loanedHenry Ford $50 to help his experiment with cars, in a shed from whichthe Ford Automobile Industry sprang. Charles was raised by hisgrandfather Samuel Seitz. He left hom e at an early age, traveled agreat deal. During his youth he t ramped around Europe; rode horsesin races, before the Queen o f England. He was one of the men wholoaned Henry Ford $50.00 t o help his experiment with cars in a shed,from which the Ford A uto industry sprang. He settled in Cleveland,Ohio and Detroit , Michigan.
