Nachrichten: Blasius Wagner Jr. was the former supervisor, of the town of Marshfield. He was born in the town of Franklin, Manitowoc Co, Wi., March 18 Notes for Blasius Wagner: Blasius Wagner Former Supervisor, Town of Marshfield Blasius Wagner was born in the Town of Franklin, Manitowoc County,Wisconsin, March 18,1869. In 1882 his parents located in the town ofMarshfield, Wood County, which has been his home practically ever since. He helped on the home farm until he was married, when he became the ownerof the home place, which he is still running. For a number of years hefollowed the carpentry and mason work in connection with farming. In1910 he went to Eagle Butte, South Dakota, to prove up on a claim of 144 acres ofgovernment land, on which he lived 18 months. This place is beingoperated for him by a renter. The home place consisted of 80 acres. In addition to this he owns 40acres in the town of Auburndale, purchased in the fall of 1929. Mrs. Wagner before her marriage was Miss Veronica Bauman. She wasmarried to Mr. Wagner by Father John Eisen in St. John's Catholic Churchon April 10,1893. Ten of their eleven children were living, Mrs. GregorDurst and Marcella Wagner, Hewitt; Mrs. John Durst, Mrs. Henry Pratt andMrs. John Weber, Marshfield; Mrs. Arthur Scheuer town of McMillian; EdWagner, Auburndale; Roman Wagner, Milwaukee; Reuben and Adeline Wagnerat home. Fraternally, Mr. Wagner is affiliated with the Marshfield Germana Lodge.His other affiliations are with the Weigelsdorf Equity Local, the CheeseFoundation Warehouse and the Farmer's Cooperative Produce Company.,Politically, he is independent. His hobby is fishing. Marshfield News-Herald February 8,1930 Blase and his family lived with his parents on the family farm. Blasecontinued on with the farm until his death. Blase died at home, threeweeks after he was involved in a farming accident. He was dragged by ateam of horses. The cause of death was listed as continuous fracturedribs.
