From Nancy Thomas: Yes, her mother died giving birth - maybe the baby lived and the SEP1, 1846 Magdalena had died. That would make the birthday Nov 2, 1848. Could be that beween all the translations and transcribing that theyear was typed in wrong - your best bet is to find the original birthcertificate. FHC film 868068 or 948286 are church records - not sure where thecivil records were recorded - your local family history center mightbe able to help you find the legal birth certificate since you knowwhere she was born. This would be the most accurate. My information is from the Church book - Like all these books the infois about 90% accurate. http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=prf/search_PRF.asp&clear_form=true
