1930 Census (April) shows she was age 31, married at age 25, immigrated in 1923, an alien, presently not working outside of home.
3/21/04: Found! Ellis Island Records: Shows name as Blondine Dekert, arrived Jan 25, 1923 on ship Yorck, at age 24. Blonde, blue eyes, 5'6" - arrived from Bremen to NY Port to go to Chicago to stay with Uncle Adolf Schulz at 2221 Kostner. Ethnenticity: Poland/German. Place of birth was BOGUMILLOW, POLAND. Last place of residence Karft, Germany (Mecklenburg) Nearest relative there was Aunt A. Reichke. THIS CONFIRMS THAT BLANDINA came from Poland and lived near Zapust (Sapust).
The "Uncle" Adolf Schulz that Blandina was going to stay with was later found to be the man who was raised by the parents who adopted her mother-in-law Julianne Heinrich.
Could be related to Blandina, Gustav could be her father. Emilie could be her aunt.
