Frances L. Goodsell, age 93, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 at Oak Ridge Care Center, Union Grove. Frances was born in Danbury, Connecticut, August 23, 1921, daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Barrett.
In March of 1941 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Goodsell who preceded her in death in 1987. Frances enjoyed reading, tap dancing, traveling internationally, and her retirement in Montana. She loved and devoted her life to her family and cherished time spent with them.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Kenneth (Carol) Goodsell of New Hampshire, Charlie (Diane) Goodsell of New Jersey, Debbie Goodsell of WI, Marguerite (Jim) Wooley of Montana, Diane (Rob) Kraft of Union Grove, Wayne Goodsell of Montana, Nelson (Kathy) Goodsell of Seattle, WA, Jeffrey (Laura) Goodsell of Texas; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son Thomas.
A memorial service will be held at the funeral home Friday, August 14, 2015, 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mark Jones officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday 10:30 A.M. until time of service.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Eldercare Cottages in Waterford for their loving and compassionate care.
