Willie Rotter officiating. Interment was in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Gary Grawunder, Richard Grawunder, Robert Lueckermyer Jr., Vernon Brunker Jr., Edward Hoff and A. M. Brast. Born March 26, 1908 in the community of Ives Creek, Anita Ida Zander was the daughter of Richard Zander and Annie (Heel) Zander. Anita Grew upin the Ives Creek Community and attended Piney and Ives Creek public schools. On Nov. 6, 1927 whe married Mr. Walter Hoff in Bellville. Anita was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Bellville. She was a lifetime homemaker. Anita Ida Hoff Died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 1997 in a Brenham nursing home. Survived by her brother Herbert Zander and wife Edna of Bellville; her nieces, Anita Kramer and Mrs. Gary (Gladys) Grawunder, also of bellville, 4 great nieces, Dr Traci Kramer, Annie Brunker, Tiffany Kramer and Rhonda Grawunder; and 1 great nephew, Richard Grawunder. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church Scholarship Fund. Funeral services were under the direction of Knesek Bros./Etlinger Funeral Chapel of Bellville.
