[Abraham.FTW] After the death of his wife he took the children to Texas. Samuel had a sister named Bell and according to the Nutt Family Forum she married a Hollabaugh. I'm looking for information on my great-grandfather's family which we know nothing about. His name was Samuel Gip Nutt born ? where on April 1 1874. He married my great-grandmother in Tennessee. Her name was Alice Voorhies(B May 1, 1887). They were married circa 1900. They had 3 children: Willie (1905), Ruby (1902)and Alvery Nutt . Alice died Mar 30 1907 of TB, and is burried in Lewis Co.,Tn. Afte her death, he took the children to Texas. Samuel had a sister named Bell and according to my family she married a Hollabaugh. There is a Catherine Isabelle Nutt Hollabaugh who married and later moved to Ellis Co., Tx. My grandmother after moving to Rusk Co.,Tx would go to Midlothian Tx to visit her Aunt Bell, so this fits, but I have not been able to definitively link them. Samuel died May 27, 1956 in Rusk Co.,Tx. If you have any info on Samuel and Isabelle Nutt's family please let me know Perry Co Tn Need info on Samuel Gipson Nutt in TN. He was born 1 Apr 1874 ? where and died 27 May 1956 in Tx. I believe his sister is Isabelle Catherine Nutt B. Mar 1863 in TN, and died in Ellis Co.Tx 1932. She married in TN Fredeick William Hollobough. Samuel was in TN at least between 1890-1907 and married Alice Voorhies. They had three children in TN : Ruby, Alvery, Willie. Any info on the Nutt family while in TN would be appreciated.[Bill's Nutt.FTW] Samuel Gip Nutt moved to Rusk County, Texas about 1920s, coming from Waxahachie, Texas, and before that originally Hohenwald Tn.
